Jacqueline “Jackie” Louise Haile, 77, of Amarillo, TX passed away June 5, 2024.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Jackie was born July 22, 1946, in Albuquerque, NM to Jack and Hazel Akin. She graduated from Denver City High School and earned her Bachelors Degree from Texas Tech University. She taught junior high English in White Deer. She enjoyed working as a travel agent for the past several years. Jackie was a member of Tau Beta Sigma sorority at Texas Tech. She loved helping others and one of Jackie’s biggest passions was planning and taking trips with her beloved husband. One of her favorite destinations was Scotland where she was an official “Lady” and landowner.

She is survived by her husband Jim Haile; and Jeff and Gina Bridges, Chase Bridges, Ella Bridges, and Julie Bednorz.

The family suggests memorials be made to an Animal Rescue Shelter of your choice.
