Inez Patricia Howell Murray, 77, of Amarillo, went home to her heavenly Father on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Deborah Huffman officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Inez was born July 6, 1935, to Stanley and Sybille Quelch in Margate, Kent, England. She grew up in Margate, but claimed Amarillo as her home. Amarillo was dear to her heart because most of her family and friends shared her life here. She was a waitress at Cattleman’s Café for many years.
Inez was a friend to all, and was loved by many. The pride and joy of her life were her children and grandchildren. She passed peacefully and is now with her heavenly Father and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life Bill Howell, and her great-granddaughter Brittani Stevens.
Survivors include four sons: Wesley Beach, Wayne Beach and Barbara Triplett, and Ricky Murray and wife Kelly, all of Amarillo; and Warren Beach and wife Diane Alvin Beach of Everett, WA; four daughters: Julie Hoeffner and husband David, Charlene Bobo and husband Fred, Donna Daniels and husband David, and Tara Phillips and husband Howard, all of Amarillo; a sister, Julie Weller of Oxford, England; a special daughter-in-law Cathy Bayne; Phil Beach, who she considered a son; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Olivia’s Angels BSA Hospice. The family expresses a special thank you to Olivia’s Angels BSA Hospice and to The Arbors, both in Amarillo.
