One of her great loves was watching her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren play sports.
Beginning in 1975, Pat and Ruth moved to College Station, TX; Washington, D.C., and Kansas City, KS due to career opportunities with ASCS Office. On June 30, 1993, they retired to Amarillo, TX and joined Coulter Road Baptist Church.
Ruth was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother (Grandmama) and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Pairs and Squares Dance Club, Joy Singers, China Painters Association, and always very active in her church life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.D. and Nora Taylor; two sisters, Lanelle Todd and Marie Taylor; her son, Glen Maynard; and her beloved husband, Pat Maynard, of 72 years.
