Gloria Joyce Reynolds, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday May 2, 2024 at Saint Stephen Methodist Church, 4600 South Western Street.

Gloria was born August 30, 1946, in Amarillo to Virgil and Juanita Ballengee. She graduated from Amarillo High School and went on to earn her degrees from Amarillo College and West Texas A&M. Gloria married the love of her life, Harley Reynolds on August 15, 1970. They spent fifty-three wonderful years together. She worked for forty-seven years at the Pantex Plant as an Environmental Analyst.
Gloria loved spending time working in her yard, traveling with her husband, spending time with her dogs, and helping others. Gloria spent many years volunteering for the Harrington Cancer Center. She was an active member at Saint Stephen Methodist Church and played the piano for the Wesley Workers Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Juanita, her sister, Carol and her brother-in-law Gerald Priest, and her brother, Jim Ballengee.
Survivors include her loving husband Harley, her two nieces, Debbie Smith of Amarillo; Diana Lewis and husband Jimmy of Amarillo; Sister-in-law Debbie Ballengee of Grapevine; her two great nephews Brandon Lewis and wife Megan of Amarillo; Nathan Lewis and wife Bethany of Amarillo.
Her family would like to thank The Craig Senior Living Windflower Unit for taking great care of her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
