Gloria Dawn Ellman Howell

Gloria Howell, 77, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away February 14, 2020.

Gloria was born September 13, 1942, in North Carolina to Robert and Mildred Ellman. She married her husband, Randy, in Jacksonville, Florida in 1963. 

Gloria was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. Over the years, she and Randy served as foster parents, opening their hearts and their home to over 300 children. 

She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, music, mystery novels, and black-and-white films. She was truly a remarkable woman who lived her life exhibiting true kindness and grace. 

Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Randy. 

Survivors include her children Russ (Shannon), Pam, Tommy (Camille), Bethany, Lexie, Jackson, and Savannah; grandchildren Tanner (Bria), Roni, Genna, Garrison, Carsen, and Ivy; one great-grandchild, Timothy; and countless other friends and loved ones. 

Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020.
