Gloria Fogg

Gloria (Rieckhoff) Fogg, 80, of Bushland,  passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loving sons, on January 11, 2019. Gloria was born January 26, 1938, in Union Grove, Wisconsin.  She was born into a farming family and maintained this passion throughout her life.  Shortly after moving to Amarillo in the mid 1950’s, she met and married Tom Fogg of Bushland where they farmed.  She loved caring for her many farm animals and beautiful gardens.  She was a true pioneer woman and a “crack shot.”  Gloria overcame many hardships, but was strong and resilient to the end.
Gloria is survived by four children: Steve (Marin) Fogg of Bountiful, Utah, Stan (Lori) Fogg, Karl (Debbie) Fogg, of Amarillo, Kyle (Selena) Fogg of Bushland.  She is also survived by five grandchildren: Melissa Fogg, Dallas, Meagan (Dan) Sherwood, Mary (Chris) Gross, of Amarillo, J. T. Fogg of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Coleman Fogg, Bushland and 4 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her loving cow dog, Dink.  Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Tom Fogg , parents Harold Karl Rieckhoff and Lena (Gonsky) Rieckhoff, brothers Mike and Kenny Rieckhoff, daughter in law, Karen Fogg.
Graveside services will be at Llano Cemetery, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Memorials can be made to Faith City Mission, BSA Hospice of the Southwest or the charity of your choice.
