Gabriel H. Galan, 64, of Amarillo, died on Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Gabriel was born on March 24, 1959, in El Salvador to Carlos Galan and Antonia Hidalgo. He had worked in meat processing. He married Glenda Galan on October 28, 1987, in Denver. They had lived in Amarillo the past 35 years. He loved to play pool, garden, and spend time with family. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan!
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janean Kelley.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Galan; four daughters, Angelica Martinez, Lorraine Romero, Rosa Romero and Martin Garcia, Louisa Romero and Kaylee Romero all of Amarillo; two sons, Omar Galan and Alexander Galan, both of El Salvador; several brothers and a sister; twenty-five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
