Fredie Langston

Fredie Wade Langston, 63, of Amarillo, TX went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Arden Road Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Fredie was born August 4, 1958, in Plainview, TX to W.F. “Bill” Langston.

He came to salvation on November 14, 1982, at Calvary Baptist, Plainview, TX.  Fredie also was a member of Faith Baptist, Plainview, TX, and was attending Arden Road Baptist Church, Amarillo, TX.

He married Terri Yates on February 7, 1981 at Date Street Baptist Church in Plainvew, Texas.

Fredie was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Otto Langston, Nellie Langston, and Vergie Langston; and sister-in-law, Cindy Yates.

Survivors include his wife, Terri Langston, of Amarillo, TX; his children, Joshua Langston and wife Missa, and Johnathan Langston, all of Amarillo, TX; a granddaughter, Katherine Langston; a brother, Rickie Langston and wife Janet; sister-in-law, Lisa Yates and fiancé, Dan; brothers-in-law, Richard and wife Lori Yates, Clifford and wife Lisa Yates, and Doyle Yates; sister-in-law, Amy Leatherman and husband Mark; mother-in-law, Shirley Cline; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Irlbeck, Jeff Langston, Michael Langston, Cody Allen, Don Rodman, and Ricky Poindexter.

Family visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2022, at the funeral home.
