Fernando Jasso Martinez

Fernando Jasso Martinez, 75, of Dumas, died on Monday, March 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Grace Thru Faith. Burial will follow at the Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Fernando was born on November 17, 1949 in Mexico. He had moved to Dumas in 1983 and worked for JBS over thirty years until retirement. He had umpired and refereed for many years. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Martinez.

He is survived by two sons, Fernando Martinez Jr. and fiancee Heather Stevens of Borger and Oscar Matinez and his wife Connie of Dumas; a daughter, Irma Sanchez and husband Carlos of Dumas; ten grandchildren, Dunkan, Scotlyn, Amri, Galen, Carlos Jr., Alberto, Vicente, Nailea, Jesse, and Natalie; and four great grandchildren, Indie, Archie, Noah, and Luca.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
