Faustino Caballero

Faustino “Tino” Caballero, 91, of Memphis, Texas died on June 25, 2023.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas, with Daniel Downey officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Tino was born on April 14, 1932, in Lytle, Texas to Francisca and Rojelio Caballero.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rafael Caballero from Seguin, and Martine Caballero from Grand Prairie; and one sister, Bernabe Gonzalez from Seguin.

He is survived by his wife of the home Sandra K. Caballero; one sister, Gaulaupe Gonzalez from Seguin; three sons, Faustino Caballero Jr. from Grand Prairie, Roy Caballero from Ganado, and Raul Caballero from Lavernia; one daughter, Regina Vela from Arlington; one stepdaughter, Dallita Cruize from Arlington; and serveral nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.

Tino married Sandra Jones on May 11, 2015, in Memphis, Texas. He was a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He worked worked on a farm until recently.
