Epifanio “Pete” Ochoa

Epifanio “Pete” Ochoa, 65, of Amarillo, died on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Rosary Services will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Father Jose Gomez will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Pete was born March 11, 1953 in Lubbock, Texas to Ysidoro and Manuela Ochoa.  He retired after 25 years at Local 665 Carpenters Union.  He has been working at E.R.A.C. Services with a long time friend and partner, Bart Miller.  He was a lifetime musician, loyal Redskin fan, beloved husband, father, grandpa and brother.  You will always be in our hearts and mind, Daddy…

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother J.C. Ochoa, a sister Aurora Sifuentez.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene Ochoa; two children, Adrian Ochoa and wife Dorothy, Sylvia Michelle Ochoa and husband Robert; two brothers, Fillip Ochoa and Frank Ochoa and wife Cindy; five sisters, Silvia Alonzo, Mary Lou Saliva, Dominga Ochoa, Delores Medina, and Lupe Garcia; ten grandchildren, Izik, Mercedes, Eli, Marc, Rosie, Santana, Nathaniel, Joseph, Abram, and Sarah Ochoa; and one great-granddaughter, Aurora Ochoa, all of Amarillo.
