Emerson Kate Cole

Our sweet Emerson Kate went home to be with Jesus on January 19, 2023.  Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Hillside Christian Church Main Auditorium.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Emerson burst into this world on April 4, 2012 in true Emerson fashion.  She made a statement from her first breath.  She was proud of herself for being well over 9 pounds and being the biggest baby in the nursery.  From day one, she had the ability to take up the whole room with her presence.

Every single person who was graced with the privilege of meeting our Emerson, instantly knew that she was audaciously and unapologetically herself.  She left a lasting impression everywhere she went on everyone she met – be that young or old.  She was sweet but spicy.  She was a girl through and through all the while covered in dirt with her hat on backwards.  She lived to be a sister to all children but her greatest joy was being a sister to her siblings.  She loved Jesus, her friends, fishing, volleyball, zipping around on her golf cart, dancing, singing, and above all making people laugh until their sides hurt.

She is survived by an entire fan club here on earth and she had a wonderful welcoming party in heaven.  Emerson is an absolute treasure, and this world is truly a better place because of her.  Emerson’s presence will forever be felt and her sparkle will never be forgotten.
