Elaine Anita Bolduc Carpenter

Elaine Anita (Bolduc) Carpenter, 83, of Farrell Drive, Amarillo, TX died peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born in Fiskdale, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Rosa (Duquette) Bolduc of Fiskdale, MA.

Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Walter D. Carpenter who died in 2019; and her two brothers Clifford Bolduc and Raymond Bolduc. She is survived by her three children, Valerie (Carpenter) Uribe and her husband Ronald of Phoenix, AZ and their two children Michael and Diane; John C. Carpenter and his wife Maria of Thompson, CT, and their three sons and spouses, Jason and Chelsi, Stephen and Molly, and Nicholas and Kiona; Diane (Carpenter) Meyers and her husband Dr. Michael Stephen Meyers of Amarillo, TX, and their two sons, Cameron and Connor, and 6 great-grandchildren Grace-Rose, Henry, Sofia, Jack, Jace and Lucy, whom she loved very much.

The family is grateful for the loving and devoted care she received in her last years from her daughter Diane and her grandsons, Cameron and Connor. Elaine was a faithful member of the many Catholic churches where her family lived throughout their military lives. Elaine was an avid reader, puzzle and craft maker, enjoyed many traditional New England foods, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was fond of meeting new people in her travels throughout Cape Cod, Oklahoma, France, Spain, and the Philippines.

Her funeral mass will be held on 23 September 2023, at 10:00am, in the chapel at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo, TX. A private family burial will be alongside her husband at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in November.
