Eddy Joe Salas Santana

Eddy Joe Salas Santana, 56, of Louisville, KY., died on Friday, August 9, 2024. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Eddy was born on December 17, 1967 in Dumas to Gilbert Salas Santana and Melba Santana. He graduated from High School in Taft, CA. He had worked as a beautician over twenty-five years. He had also worked as a nurses assistant in San Antonio and was currently employed by the Postal Service in Louisville. He was very kind and giving. He had donated his time and services for many homeless shelters wherever he was living.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Salas Santana.

He is survived by his mother, Melba Walls Santana; two sisters, Anna Patzt and Rose Goette; two brothers, Gilbert Salas Jr. and Richard Salas; and many nieces and nephews that he cared for very much.
