Donald Jay Ketelle

Donald Jay Ketelle, born February 25, 1958, in Rockford, Illinois to Warren Jay Ketelle and Carolyn Wheat Ketelle. He moved to Texas where he met the love of his life and wife of 37 years, Lori Ketelle. He worked as a gas plant for Mesa Petroleum for years and was an active member of his church with special love for the children’s ministry and becoming a prayer warrior. Don was a proud father of two sons, Travis and Joshua. He loved hunting and fishing and competitive archery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Carolyn Ketelle, and siblings David and Dorena.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Ketelle and his two sons Travis and Joshua, as well as his nephew Buddy.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, at 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
