Donald "Donnie" "Pop" Lee Warren II

Donald “Donnie” “Pop” Lee Warren II, 57, of Amarillo, died Friday, December 6, 2024. 

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Donald was born on August 13, 1967 in Amarillo, Texas to Beverly and Donald Warren. He had been a dedicated and hard-working employee as a heavy equipment operator in the agricultural industry. When he was not hard at work Donnie enjoyed spending his time watching ball games with his dogs (Sadie and Darbie) curled up on the couch. He was a die-hard UT Longhorns fan (Hook em!) and the Dallas Cowboys. He had 14 grandkids that you could catch him spending time with, preferably in a pool somewhere as he loved the water. He would never turn down a round of golf with buddies (Orlando, Daryl, Jeff, Mitch, Joe, and Ron). Donnie was just a laid-back man with a southern drawl that loved his family, friends, sports….and dogs.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Lee Warren Sr. grandparents Ned and Evelyn Bean, Zolly and Louannie Warren.

Donald is survived by his wife, Jody Warren, of Amarillo; Mother, Beverly Warren, of Amarillo; children, Stephanie Davidson (Steven Davidson), Stephen Warren (Leah Warren), Samantha Warren (Jordan Madrid), Brennan Custer, Chandler Custer, all of Amarillo; 14 grandkids ranging from 5-25 years of age, and 4 great grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the funeral home.
