Dolores R Griego "Lola"

Dolores R. Griego "Lola", 74, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, located at 2800 Paramount Blvd. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.

Dolores was born on March 26, 1950, in Juarez, Mexico, to Trinidad and Juana (Espino) Ramirez. The family relocated to Amarillo in 1952. She married David Griego Jr. on September 26, 1969. Dolores worked for Pioneer Natural Gas and AISD. She also worked as a dental technician for Dr. Kemp for many years. She enjoyed visiting the Senior Citizens Center and had a passion for collecting McDonald's toys.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Rene Griego III; and brothers, Juan Ramirez, and Ricky Ramirez.

Survivors include her husband, David Griego Jr., of Amarillo, TX; her sons, Damian Griego and wife Annabelle, and Daniel Griego, all of Amarillo, TX; her grandchildren, Xavier, Anthony, Brianna, Analiyah, Isaiah, and Josiah; her brothers, Salvador Ramirez, Freddy Ramirez, Chris Ramirez, and Carlos Ramirez; her sisters, Victoria Boyett and Gloria Sotelo; sister in law, Toni Griego; three great-grandchildren; and in-laws, James Griego, Gloria Mendoza, Larry Griego, Kathy Griego, Josie Smith, Maxine Preciado, Carol Vasquez, and Andrew Griego.
