Darryl McClendon – April 13, 2017

Darryl McClendon, 49, of Dumas, died Thursday, April 13, 2017.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Darryl was born on March 2, 1968 in Amarillo.  He graduated from Palo Duro High School and had worked as a supervisor at ConAgra Beef.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara McClendon; a brother, Christopher McClendon; and a daughter, JuJuan M. Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Cephia McClendon of Dumas; a daughter, Lacresha Redic of Garden City, Ks.; a son, Jermier Robinson McClendon of Dumas; two sisters, Carla McClendon and Kristie McClendon Washington, both of Amarillo; a grandmother, Velma McClendon of Amarillo; three aunts, Gwendolyn Morris, Violean Riley, and Estella McClendon, all of Amarillo; two uncles, Jerrold McClendon of Augusta, Georgia and John Roy McClendon of Stockton, Ca.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

    i am blessed to have known a delightful n very humorous person who i shared many laughs wit n many wonderful conversations. you will be missed. my sympathies to your wife who is a wonderful person also. n to your family may God comfort them in this time of grief
