Darrell Lynn Palmer, 76, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
A private celebration of life will be held. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Darrell was born November 15, 1946 in Amarillo, TX to Harold and Elsie Palmer. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1965.
He married Judy Schultz on February 9, 1970, in Amarillo.
Darrell loved to work, he worked for more than twenty years at Owens Corning and retired after 15 years of truck driving for Mask Trucking. He enjoyed driving for Uber these past few years. When not working, he enjoyed woodworking, and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Palmer, of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Lisa Arrasmith and husband Mark of Fort Worth, TX, and Kim Garcia and husband George of Amarillo, TX; a brother, Bob Palmer, of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Casey Clark and wife Mercedes, Makenzie Pfister and husband Kevin, Christopher Arrasmith and fiancée Brooke, and Cathryn Arrasmith; and great-grandchildren, Cori, Cali, Brynzli, and Bentley.
