Darlene Rogers

Darlene Rogers, 62, of Amarillo, died on Thursday, March 7, 2025. Viewing will be from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

 Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Darlene was born on December 29, 1962 in Carlsbad, N.M. to Donald and Lou Reese. She grew up in Amarillo and married Bobby Rogers on March 17, 1991. He was the love of her life and preceded her in death on August 9, 2021.

She continued to own and operate the Pizza Planet at Hastings and River Road. She loved cats and her customers. She enjoyed helping others, watching church, Dr. Quinn medicine woman, and Touched by an Angel on television. She also loved to listen to K-love. She was an avid player of candy crush.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Shelley Rogers; four sisters, Elaine Nelson, Laura Schultz, Carol Horsley, and Susan Reese; and four grandchildren.
