Colton Samuel Bagwell, 27, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on April 1, 2023.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 8, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Colton was born in Dumas, Texas on January 16, 1996, to Heather Hagar and Russell Bagwell.
Colton was a remarkable person who lived his life with pride and passion. He was a proud member of the LGBTQ community and never shied away from expressing his true self. He had a deep interest in history and was always eager to learn more about the world around him. Colton was known for his kind and compassionate nature. He had a heart full of love and cared deeply for those around him. He was a loyal friend and a loving partner, and his presence brought joy and happiness to all who knew him.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Colton was determined to complete his GED and pursue his dreams of a career in computer science. He was driven by his love for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.
Sadly, Colton’s life was cut short, but his legacy lives on through the memories and love of those who knew him. He will always be remembered as a courageous and inspiring individual who lived life to the fullest and touched the hearts of many.
Survivors include his grandfather, Clifford Hagar, of Amarillo, Texas; grandfather, Donald Bagwell, of Mineral Wells, Texas; father, Russell Bagwell, of Spring, Texas; mother, Heather Hagar, of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Aubree Sanders, of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Brandon Sanders, of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Greyson Hager, of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Benjamin Bagwell, of Spring, Texas; sister, Sydney Morris, of Amarillo, Texas; and step-sister, Rheanna Hamel, of Amarillo, Texas.
