Cicely Rashawn Orgain

Cicely Rashawn Orgain 35, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, January 10, 2025. 

A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Valleyview Church of the Nazarene, 7601 S Western. Public viewing will take place at the church from Noon to service time. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Cicely was born April 4, 1989, in Dumas, TX to Randall Orgain and Connie Drake. 

Cicely graduated from Richard Milburn Academy in 2008. She loved to cook and try new foods, but her favorite part was eating what she created. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Cicely’s smile lit up any room she was in. Her laugh was so contagious she could make even the saddest person in the room laugh. People say she had an aura about her. She had a calmness, and she was easy to talk to and had the best advice. 

She had many great qualities to her, self-less, compassionate, creative and she had a heart of gold. Her love for her family was a huge part of her life. She never let a day pass by without saying “hope you have a good day” and “I love you.”

Dontae and Zy’king were her pride and joy. She was very proud of her boys and who they are growing up to be. Her kind-hearted soul will live within them through their whole life. She loved to tell stories about her boys and how happy they made her. She truly lived for them. 

She loved to help people even when she couldn’t help herself. Her beautiful heart was needed more in heaven than on earth. 

She was preceded in death by her father Randall Orgain, and mother, Connie Drake. 

Survivors include her brothers, Markus Orgain and wife Andrea Orgain and Kobe Orgain; children, Dontae Perkins and Zy’king Perkins-Berry; and nephew, Noah Orgain.
