Christopher Paul Kindred

Christopher Paul Kindred, 45, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 31, 2025.

Viewing will be from 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 and 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Christopher was born July 4, 1979 in Amarillo, TX to Steven Kindred and Lawana. Critter was a dreamer, always wanting the best for the ones he loved. He had a bond with his momma like no other. His best friend. He loved so deeply Jesus. “Always make hugs in Heaven” he would say by helping others. From a young age, he dreamed of having a daughter, Olivia or Olive for short is what he called her was his complete world. His pappy taught him about snakes at a young age, and the rest is history. Critters Snake Haven Resort and Brothel was born. “Always feeding the birds”, he would say. He loved all animals and reptiles. Camping in the mountains and fishing with his pappy were his favorite activities besides climbing around looking for snakes. The outdoors was where he connected with God. The last few years, he picked up a new hobby in Flint Knapping and perfected it! Christopher loved all of his family, especially his momma and dad, Jamie. His pappy, Steve. His wife, Allison his bobwa and precious Olive. He will be deeply missed. 

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Colleen Kindred; aunt, Sheila Woodall; and uncle, James Jasmin.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife Allison Kindred; daughter, Olivia Kindred; father, Steve Kindred; mother and best friend, Lawana Maloney and Dad, Jamie Maloney; brother, Jason Maloney; sister, Jessica Johnson and husband Ryan and their children; grandma, Ruth Baker; aunt, Victoria Lessard and husband Kenny; cousins, Jennifer, Amanda, Richard, Brooke, Tori, and Little Richard; in-laws, Jim and Tonya Deines and Mike and Connie Wilson; sister-in-law, Ashley (Griffith) and husband Bryce; and numerous extended family. 

In lieu of flowers a benefit account has been setup up at Amarillo National Bank for Olivia.
