Charles “Chuck” Tillman Taylor, Sr., 63, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Chuck Taylor, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 9, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Deever and Dorothy Taylor. He married Katherine “Kat” Greer on Aug. 9, 1994 in Amarillo. Chuck was a draftsman in the oil and gas industry and was skilled in many areas and proficient in all.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Darla June Taylor; his parents; and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine “Kat” Taylor of Amarillo; two sons, Chuck Taylor, Jr. and wife Carol of Buhler, KS and Chad Taylor and wife Melinda of Borger; a daughter, Mareesa Hernandez and husband John of Graham; and two brothers, D.C. Taylor and wife Tina of Borger and Kenny Taylor and wife Voncille of Guymon, Okla.; and nine grandchildren.
