Chad Allen Taylor, 56, of Amarillo, TX passed away August 22, 2023.
Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Chad was born January 20, 1967 in Memphis, TX to Jerry and Dorothy Taylor. He graduated from Tascosa High School. He continued his education at WT and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. He loved riding his Harley through the mountains. He spent many of his younger years riding dirt bikes in the mountains, going to the lake with his dad and brother, and waterskiing with his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy.
Chad is survived by his father, Jerry Taylor and wife Cherri of Amarillo, TX; brother, Mark Taylor and girlfriend, Ivy Ayala of Amarillo, TX; nephew, Justin Savage of Wichita Falls, TX; stepbrother, Kory Hartman and wife Kelly and their sons, Keenan, Kole, and Kolin of White Deer, TX; stepsister, Amanda Hartman of Amarillo, TX; aunts Shirley Ariola of Brownwood, TX and Marie McElroy of Clarendon, TX; his very sweet friend, Laura Terrel; his fur babies, Shorty and Sasha; and many other family members and friends.
