It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn Ann Bryant Ward announces her passing after her battle with cancer on July 24, 2018, at the age of 78.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2018, at Llano Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Carolyn was born February 22, 1940, in Dallas to Bill and Dorothy Bryant. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from South Oakcliff High School in 1958. She retired from JC Penny of Amarillo in 2010, after 22 years of employment. After retiring, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and of course, her dogs.
Carolyn will be forever remembered by her sons, Jeff Ward, of Jacksonville, Florida, Mark Ward and wife Suzy, of Spring, Texas, Allan Ward and wife Teresa, of Burleson, and David Ward, of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, Lindsey Tucker of Clarksville, TN, Michael Shelton of Midlothian, TX, Kyle Leamon, of Sherman, TX, Britni Houser of Milton, FL, Chad Leamon of Pensacola, FL, and Brandan Ward of Fort Worth, TX; and 7 great-grandchildren.
