Carlos Ibarra, 62, of Amarillo, TX passed away September 24, 2023. With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.

Carlos Ibarra was born March 18, 1961, in Juarez, Mexico to Blas Ibarra and Eudosia Cisneros. He worked many years in construction specializing in remodeling projects.

A devoted husband to Maria Ibarra; a loving father to 4 children, Cristina Ibarra, Jessica Cavazos, Charlie Ibarra, and Estrella Ibarra. A devoted grandfather to 8 grandchildren, Ruby Cavazos, Jaime Cavazos, Ismael Ibarra, VadAliya Ibarra, Delilah Cavazos, ZadAliya Ibarra, Lilyana Lopez, and Amaiah Cavazos. A caring brother to 8 siblings, Estela Escobar, Francisca Cisneros, Margarita Garcia, Manuel Ibarra, Francisco Ibarra, Blas Ibarra, Rosa Ibarra, Jesus Ibarra, and Elena Cisneros.

He taught us love, laughter, and the beauty of family. His memory is our keepsake, and his love our treasure.

Rest in peace dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. Your love lives with us.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

In celebration of his life, we will gather privately to honor the man who left an incredible mark on our hearts.
