Brenda Jo Hawley

Brenda Jo Hawley, 67, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 28, 2024. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Monday, September 30, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at The Loft Church, 4400 S. Georgia St., with Matt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow that Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo. 

Brenda was born in Montebello, California on September 8, 1957, to Patsy and Billy Morford. She attended Palo Duro High School. Growing up, Brenda was an avid sports player. She enjoyed playing volleyball and softball, and even played softball in her adult years. 

Brenda loved to travel with her husband Dan. Together, they would spend months out of the year in Canada working for the Worlds Finest Show Carnival in the office. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Ray Morford; first husband, Neal “Grizz” Hawley; and second husband, Daniel Earl Wafford. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Watson; sister, Vicke Morford (Jim Taylor); grandchildren, Jade Alise Crabtree, and Adrian Paul Roach (Briana Sanchez); sister-in-law, Janet Morford; aunt, Fran Blessen; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from the United States all the way to Canada.
