Brad was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on September 25, 1949, to Ella May (Sweger) and Gene Willard Bowers. Brad was raised in Perry, Oklahoma with immediate and many extended family members. He later moved to Amarillo and attended Crockett Junior High, Tascosa High School and graduated from West Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 1973. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Nancy Huse, on July 10, 1971 they moved to Dallas and had four children--Jennifer, Carolyn, Andrea and Randall. Brad enjoyed many hobbies and interests. His top priority was his faith in Jesus Christ and serving his Lord and Savior with his whole heart. He committed all his hobbies and talents to the Lord, and enjoyed worshipping Him in the great outdoors with friends and family. Brad loved camping and hunting in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He had a passionate desire for playing guitar throughout his life, starting in his high school rock band and continuing with multiple rock bands and church praise teams for many years. His relentless, obsessive interest in Sasquatch and the paranormal fueled many fun conversations and adventures. Brad and Nancy lived in Colorado for 24 years before returning to Amarillo in 2021 to reunite with their children and grandchildren, where they have made unforgettable memories and had plans to make many more.

Brad is preceded in death by his father Gene Bowers, his mother Ella May Bowers, and his brother Jeff Bowers.

Brad deeply loved and cherished his family. He is survived by his wife Nancy Bowers, his daughter Jennifer Thomas and husband Brad, his daughter Carolyn Bowers, his daughter Andy Allen and husband Jeff, his son Randy Bowers, his brother Greg Bowers and wife Debbie, and his sister Kim Thompson and husband Trent and brother-in-law, Jim Huse and wife Heidi.
