Blaze W. Blue, 41, of Dumas, TX passed away Saturday June 15, 2024.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 22, 2024 at Temple Baptist Church, 311 N. Maddox, Dumas, Texas with Pastor Chris Fobbs officiating. Arrangements are with Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Blaze was born December 14, 1982 in Dumas, Texas. He graduated from Dumas High School in 2001. During that time he was inducted into the National Honor Society and served as Treasurer. He was also named to both All District Wrestling and Football for Dumas High School. After graduating from DHS, he went on to West Texas A&M in Canyon. Blaze was a “jack of all trades” and a “master of quite a few”. A few of those trades included plumbing, diesel mechanic, oil field worker, rancher and farmer.
Blaze was known for his kind heart, compassionate spirit and always looking out for the underdog. Out of everything, Blaze loved being a father. His family was always the most important to him, he was a much-loved Father, brother, son, Uncle and grandson.
Blaze was vibrant and caring and will always be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, boundless energy, and the warmest of hearts.
Blaze took pieces of everyone’s hearts and each day they will wake to live for one another, and for Blaze too. The sun may set but Blaze lives in the arms of Jesus.
Survivors include son Hayzen Rale Blue and his brothers Colton and Clyde; Brothers and sister: Cody Blue and Holly; Smoky Blue and Jordan; Jazz Blue; and Keisha Krick; Parents Yvonne Dykstra and Dave; Aunts Cathey Creel and Bub; Joanne Evans; Joseph Bellow and Teresa; Steve Blue and Patsy; Nieces and Nephews: Marc, Baylee, Ayden, Daelyn, Ranger, Jaxon, Maddox, Zaniah and Zayden.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.W and Glennella Blue; Father Monte Blue; Uncle Bill Evans; nephew Jayten Blue.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers for Blaze W. Blue, donations in honor of his son Hayzen Rale Blue. A memorial account has been set up at Happy State Bank for the benefit of Hayzen Rale Blue or donations can be made at Venmo@HayzenRaleBlue and on Cash App $HayzenRaleBlue
