Beverly “Tippy” Saultz, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas.
Tippy was born on September 15, 1926 in Jayton, Texas to David Eddicus Burns and Willie Mae Green Burns. She married Wallace “Wally” Saultz on November 19, 1949 in San Angelo, Texas. They were married 57 years and lived in Midland, Texas where they raised their two sons.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sharon Saultz of Amarillo and their children, Emily and husband, Brad Bowen, Libby, Stacy, and Cindy; son Steve Saultz of Sonoita, Arizona and his children, Zack, Cole, Tristan, and Stephanie; four great grandchildren, Wally, Nancy, Gabe, and Evan; and special cousin, Sam Davenport of Borden County, Texas.
Tippy, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was laid to rest beneath a 20’ cross located on a hill overlooking the —D ranch in Borden County.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of BSA Hospice of the Southwest, and to the staff of Ware Memorial Care Center, for their compassionate care of Tippy.
