Beverly Lynn Lovato, 79, died Friday, May 11, 2018.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Channing High School Auditorium with Rev. Bobby Miller, pastor of First Baptist Church in Channing, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.
Beverly was born on October 22, 1938 in Shidler, Oklahoma to Samuel and Sybil Parkhurst. She graduated from Borger High School and Draughns Business School. She had worked in the Channing High School cafeteria for the last 9 years. She was a member of the Channing United Methodist Church.
She married Christy Lovato on April 15, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nv.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Parkhurst and Buddy Parkhurst.
She is survived by her husband, Christy Lovato of Channing; four daughters, Kim Riojas and husband David of Amarillo, Tandy Miller and husband Lewis of Channing, Billie Joslyn and husband Jonathan of Channing, Shawntae Guzman of Amarillo; a son, Christopher Lovato and wife Cinda of Amarillo; a sister, Elva Dell Butler and husband Charles of Collinsville, Ok., twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
