Beverly Ann Gillman

Beverly Ann Gillman, 90, of Amarillo, TX passed away on October 28, 2022.

A Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Beverly was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 25, 1932, to Marvin Irby Edwards and Doshia Elsie Booker. She grew up in Borger, Texas, and graduated from Borger High School; she earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. She taught at Spring Creek School outside of Borger for 14 years. Beverly loved to fish, read, and travel.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Moore, and husband Billy Gillman (2008).

Survivors include her son, Blake Moore, and wife Tonya of Canyon, Texas; stepdaughters, Rosalind Price of Amarillo, Texas, Cynthia Fisher of Conroe, Texas, and Karen Berg of Amarillo, Texas; daughter-in-law, Michele Moore of Austin, Texas; sister, Mary Augustine of Henderson, Nevada; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
