Beulah Jane Anderson Bunn, 94, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Funeral services are in Oskaloosa, KS on Wednesday June 13th. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens in Topeka, KS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Arden Road Baptist Church in Amarillo with Bro. Cody Allen officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Beulah was born on January 28, 1924 in Oskaloosa, Kansas to Oscar and Isa Anderson.
She married George Bunn on April 25, 1942 in Manhattan Beach, California and was a pastor’s wife for 47 years. They were married 59 years before George passed in 2001. Beulah was always everyone’s prayer warrior. She was never ashamed of her faith and to share the gospel with others. The things she most loved to do was eat, being around her ever growing 5-generation family and making a good time. She lived in Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado and most recently in Amarillo, Texas since 2006. Beulah was a resident of The Craig Nursing Home as well as a member of Arden Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, 6 brothers and sisters, a son-in-law, James Garten, a grandson, Darrel Garten and a daughter-in-law, Vivian Bunn.
She is survived by five children, Kathleen Garten of Amarillo Texas, Deborah Hendrickson and husband Ron of Aurora Colorado, Pam Bunn of Lawrence Kansas, Richard Bunn and wife Colleen of Pryor Oklahoma, and Daniel Bunn Douglas Arizona, a sister, Violet May of Phoenix, Arizona, a sister-in-law, Bette Anderson of Palm Coast Florida, 14 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
