Betty Rosalyn King Chaney

Betty Rosalyn King Chaney, 72, died on Friday, February 25, 2022, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX.

Betty was born on January 1, 1950, in the Abilene, TX Hospital.  Betty was the daughter of Roy T. King and Mary C. Morton King.

Betty married James E Chaney in Breckenridge, TX on November 6, 1970.  They made their home in Waxahachie and Buffalo, TX after James graduated from college and Seminary. They then moved back to the Breckenridge and Clyde, TX area.  In later years, they moved to Amarillo, TX where she was living at the time of her death.

Betty was preceded in death by both parents; both grandparents; and 1 grandson, Britton Swopes.

Survivors include her husband, James Chaney; son, Donnie Chaney and wife Yvonne of Amarillo; daughter, Anna Chaney of Sherman; son, Westley Chaney of Sherman; brother, Larry King and wife Christy of Baird; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

services will be held at Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge, Texas on Saturday, March 26th, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.
