Belinda Grace Cobo – January 22, 2018

Belinda Grace Cobo gained her heavenly wings January 22, 2018, after a long battle with Breast Cancer and Leiomyosarcoma. She was 58.
Belinda was born January 27, 1959, to Wayne and Billie Maytum in Dalhart, TX. She attended Dalhart High School. She made her home in Guymon, OK, where she was married to Timothy Allen Cobo, who precedes her in death, enjoyed several years in her mountain dreams in Colorado, later settling in Amarillo, TX to be closer to family. She loved life, but more than that, she loved her family. She loved music. Her hobbies included fishing, hiking, camping, and having large family gatherings to spend time with everyone she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Billie, her husband, Tim Cobo, her baby brother, Randy Maytum, and her nephew, TJ Womble. She leaves behind her children, daughter Kori and husband Dennis Weikle of Tulsa, OK, daughter Brittney and husband Chris Bural of Amarillo, TX, son Justin Ames of Tacoma, WA, son Tyler Cobo of Amarillo, TX, her seven grand babies, Kayla, Caiden, Ryan, Addison, Holley, Evalyn, and Max, her sisters Trivone Maytum and Jeanette Caraway of San Antonio, TX, Laura and husband Gary Ingram of Keyes, OK, Stephanie and husband Scott Stricker of Amarillo, TX, and brother Wayne and wife Julie Maytum of Guymon, OK, several nieces and nephews, countless beautiful friends, and a life lived with amazing strength.
Mom, you were such a loving, beautiful soul. You were always giving so much of yourself, wanting nothing in return. Thank you for this life, for the love you gave, and for being a best friend to each of us. It is impossible to imagine this life without you.
Family and friends whose lives were touched by Belinda are invited to join us to celebrate her life Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Arden Road Baptist Church, 6701 Arden Road, Amarillo, TX with Billy Hobbs officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

To the family & friends of Belinda,
Belinda touched my life deeply while I worked at Randys. I never heard her say contrary things about anyone or complain. She was always upbeat and fun loving! Everyone loved Belinda and her legacy will go on through her family & friends. May God grant you all peace and strength to go through this time. Love, Kathy Pence

I grew up with her son since junior high. She was one of the kindest and loving women ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even though she didnt know me well. I feel the fact me and her son were so close she always treated me like family. I send my love and condolences to all her friends and loved ones. The world lost an amazing soul too soon.
