Anne Van Camp, 83, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in Polk Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Deckard officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Anne was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Amarillo, to Raymond and Veta Schulze. She was a lifetime member of Polk Street United Methodist Church and member of the Friendship Sunday school class. Anne retired from Corporate Systems after 30 years of service. She loved gardening and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Van Camp.
Survivors include her three sons, John Bradley Van Camp and wife Dagmar, Steven Ray Van Camp and wife Linda, Samuel Wayne Van Camp, all of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Bonnie Scott and husband Matthew, Andrew Van Camp and wife Kristen, all of San Antonio; a sister, Gene Stephens of Homer, Alaska; a brother, Robert Schulze and wife Aileen of California; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to Polk Street United Methodist Church, 1401 S Polk St Amarillo, TX 79101; or to a favorite charity.
