Andy was a bricklayer by trade, starting Andy Olguin Construction but was a pool player at heart. He loved telling stories about his days as a gambler, his travels, and the people he met. One of his favorite jobs was working as a trainer for racehorses when the bricklaying jobs would slow in the winter. He loved the Downs at Ruidoso! In his later years, he looked forward to watching the races on TV since he was no longer able to travel. Later in life, one of his biggest joys was hanging out with his nephew, Randy Duran, drinking a cold beer, and watching football every Sunday.
