Alvin had a beautiful spirit and smile that would light up the room. His energy and personality made him a model for his friends and family. He enjoyed music, especially the sounds of Jeffery Osborne. He had a Sunday routine of bowling and movies with family, friends, and fiancée, Vibeke Thomas.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Nolan Woods, Sr.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memories his parents; grandparents, Andrew Lee Strong, Sr. (Girtha), of Shreveport, and Georgia Jane Strong, also of Shreveport, and Virginia Woods, of Amarillo; three brothers, Jasper Strong and Semaj Woods, both of Amarillo, and Derrick Beckworth, of Rochester, NY; and four sisters, India Woods, Kisha Woods, and Tisha Woods, all of Amarillo, and Sierra Woods (Jordan), of Dallas. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of special friends, all of whom he loved so dearly.
