Alma “Sis” Holley, 71, of Claude, died Thursday, March 8, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Boxwell Brothers Claude Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Claude, 200 Parks.
Mrs. Holley was born October 22, 1940 in Erick, Okla. to Homer and Bertha Casey. She married S.R. Holley on Sept. 10, 2009 in Claude. She managed the Dairy Queen restaurants in Claude, Groom and Clarendon and had started several businesses.
Mrs. Holley loved to read books and watching old movies on the Hallmark and Lifetime channels. Alma was a very independent, very sarcastic and self-sufficient lady. She was the foundation of and both parents to the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dwyatt and Bud; and a daughter, DaRinda Gatlin.
Survivors include her husband, S.R. Holley of Claude; a son, Clinton Price of Edgewood, NM; three daughters, Gayle Blalock and husband Keith of Irving, Tammie Price of Goodnight, and Jennifer Price of Claude; nine grandchildren, Kristi, Terrance, Joshua, Casey, Ashlee, Robert, Brittney, Codie and Callum; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Lucie, Triston and Abby; a brother, William “Bill” Casey and wife Ann; a sister, Martha Johnston and husband James; three step children, Toni Helms, Stanley Holley and Jeannie Hargrove.
