Allison Elizabeth Looper was born on September 5, 1986, in Amarillo. She went to be with her Lord, and with her momma on May 31, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 6, 2022, in the First Baptist Church Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Allison was a huge movie buff. If you watched a movie with her, you would think she worked for Turner Classic Movies with the knowledge she had of the actors, directors and the music score. She also loved music, listening to all genres, her favorites were always on her playlist, and she couldn’t drive without music. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and looked forward to Cousin Camp every summer.
She loved her mother, Amy Marie Gilbert with all of her heart and was heartbroken when Amy passed away last year. She never recovered from that loss.
Allison, aka Alli Cat, Alli Pali, Aunti Alli, Allison Little Bit, was passionate, opinionated, articulate, determined, and loved to laugh.
Allison was preceded in death by her Poppa, James White; and her mother, Amy Marie Gilbert.
She is survived by her father, Steve Looper and wife Robin; her “daddy”, Barry Gilbert; her stepbrother, Jeremy Gilbert and wife Emily; her stepbrother, Stephen Gilbert and Becky Widner; her grandmother, Winona White; her aunt, Anita Harp and husband Duane; her uncle, Doug White and wife Donnice; her cousins, Matt Harp and wife Michelle, Joe Bob Harp, Chris White and wife Lauren, and Lauren Belcher and husband Josh; nephews, Gentry Harp, Stetson Harp, and James Gilbert; and nieces, Margaret Gilbert and Grey Harp. Many other family and friends, especially EJ Ornales so much in common and tight a bond. And Alli leaves behind her fur baby Tallulah.
