Alan Ray Teague, 66, of Amarillo, Texas pa

ssed away on February 2, 2024.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Alan was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 26, 1957, to Mary Nell (White) and Jesse Ray Teague. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1976.

Alan married Jan Phillips in Amarillo, Texas on January 7, 1977.

Alan worked for the Amarillo Fire Department for over 30 years, where he retired as a driver. He also worked for Bell Helicopter in their Fire Department.

Alan loved to watch softball and would often coach the team from the stands until he was given the opportunity to coach his niece, Ava. He enjoyed going to concerts, especially rock concerts, and would take his wife, children, grandchildren, and even his dog along with him.  Alan enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and swimming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Fox.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Teague, of the home; children, Amy Teague Medrano and T.J. Szozda, Tina Teague Brohlin and Toby, Scott Teague and Aspin Davis,  Donnie Teague and Cassie Mendoza, all of Amarillo, Texas; bonus daughter, Ava Bowers; grandchildren, Vanessa Medrano, Christian Khashan, Mario Medrano, Jr., Keegan Barnett, Ryan Barnett, Lennon Brohlin, Simon Teague, Isabella Teague, Ceilie Teague, and Leilani Teague (coming soon); great-grandchildren, Mia Khashan, Lila Khashan, and one on-the-way; sister, Shirley Link; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be available from Noon-8:00 P.M., Monday, February 5, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
