Adam Jeremiah Maes, 17, of Amarillo, died on Thursday, September 14, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Power Church with Manny De Los Santos officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Adam was born on September 2, 2005, in Amarillo, TX to Ricky Maes and Natasha Vega. He attended Caprock High School where he was academically driven. Adam was known for his heart of gold. His generosity and kindness to others was unmatched. He was a natural provider. He took pride in helping his family, and he cherished every one of his brothers and sister. Kids were drawn to him because he always spoiled them. He loved playing pranks and making his family laugh. His smile could light up the darkest room. He always made sure his parents were taken care of. Adam enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Adam’s goal was to be a business owner after he graduated from high school.
Adam was an angel here on earth, and he is now our angel watching over us.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Janessa Maes; cousin, Marina Vega; grandmothers, Josephine Vega, and Yolanda Cordova.
He is survived by his father, Ricky Maes; his mother, Natasha Vega; his step-mother, Shayna Radtke; his step-father, Jerry Donangsena; seven brothers, Phillip Maes, Sean Maes, Jeshua Reyna, Zackery Maes, Brayden Espino, Noah Maes, and Julian Reyna; a sister, Ariyah Vega; sister-in-law, Monique Mendiola; grandparents, Ronald Maes and wife Jennifer, and Israel Vega; nieces, Analee Maes, and Arineliy Maes; many aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins whom he loved spending time with.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
