Basic Services

Families choose from these services and each one is individually itemized on our price list.

For example:

If a family chooses to have a graveside service only, they would eliminate at least facilities for a chapel service, staffing to a church of family preference, and pallbearer limousine (these would definitely not be needed). Embalming is not required by law and is necessary only when

  1. viewing is requested
  2. a family prefers it

The only services that families are required to select are professional services and transfer of deceased to funeral home. Even these services are reduced when the amount of work we are asked to do by a family is reduced.

For example:

  • Direct Cremation
  • Direct Burial

Direct simply means there are no funeral services, therefore costs will be minimized. In forwarding remains to another funeral home, or receiving remains from another funeral home, service responsibility is shared and we feel costs should reflect this.
